The LMV linear motor axis was developed for the small to medium load range with the aim of making it more compact, lighter and more dynamic. The considerably reduced moving masses and the linear motors from the LMSA series gave rise to a highly dynamic positioning axis. This brings its advantages to bear for both horizontal and vertical movements and handling tasks. Unlike other linear motor axes, the LMV precision axis is characterised by maximised mechanical stability in a compact, weight-optimised design.
